  • Carleton University will be open to hosting day workshops for Teachers and the CARL 6.1 coding robot
  • 24 Ottawa Engineers are in schools using the CARL 6.1 as part of their outreach program
  • Wed night CARL 6.1 robot bootcamp are available for teachers at Maker Space North in Ottawa from 6 to 8pm    (register for meetup)
  • 2018 we secured funding to provide CARL 6.1 robots to 300 Ottawa schools
  • 65 new schools have registered for the Sept 2018 rollout of the CARL 6.1
  • Faculty of Education at University of Ottawa used the CARL 6.1 during the summer coding institute.
  • 2018  over 300 students coded the robots, thanks to 47 innovated teachers across Canada.
  • 2017 Community stakeholders came together to form a program that would offer robots to schools with Teacher Librarians, who encouraged and empowered students to code the robot regardless of what subject they were enrolled in (see list of partners)
